Russ Fogle is a designer and artist whose practice sits at the intersection of furniture, sculpture, and engineered form. Currently completing his MFA in Furniture Design at RISD, he draws on a background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing to create objects that test the boundaries between function and non-function. From digitally generated textures to sculptural rock stands and modular wooden constructions, his work blends computational precision with material intuition, often embracing irregularity and the imperfect logic of the hand-drawn line. Fogle’s objects occupy a space between tool and artifact – purposeful yet ambiguous.
